First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hagler & Associates.
Marketing Representative
The interview process had multiple the rounds. The first was a introductory, 15-minute interview that asked broad questions. I was invited back for a second interview and told this interview would discuss job expections, salary, etc. This was not the case. Not only did the interview fail to start on time, but it was a repeat of the first interview and revealed the job was not was I expected at all. It was a glorified sales position posted under the facade of marketing.
- Are you interested in moving into a management role?
Marketing Associate
I got an email about an interview the day after I applied on LinkedIn, for what felt like a pyramid scheme disguised as multi-level marketing. I picked an interview slot online and went in the next day. The first interview was quick, maybe 10 minutes with basic questions, and he scheduled a second interview right after. HR contacted me that same day asking for info for a background check. The second interview was also quick, about 15-20 minutes, and they offered me the job, asking me to come in the next day for paperwork and a drug test that week for a start the following week. I turned down the offer because it all happened so fast and I got bad vibes about the company and their development plan, where you start with little money (small base plus commission) and they train you to start your own company.
- Would you be interested in doing this?
Management
It's a small office with a fun atmosphere. One of the directors or supervisors will bring you into his office and talk to you for about 20 minutes. Then, I got invited back and did a similar type process. Then I got an offer to begin on a certain date. Must pass background check and drug screen.
- What are your expectations for a new job opportunity?
- In order of importance, what do you value most: the office environment, salary, or opportunities for career advancement?
Account Representative
It was a quick and easy process. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist upon arrival. The hiring manager came out to the lobby to meet me, and we then went to his office to discuss the role. He invited me back for another interview on the next available workday, and by the end of that second meeting, I was extended an offer.
- Prior experience in Marketing, is there any?
