First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hager Sharp.
Account Coordinator
It was a great experience overall, the managers were friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable during the interview. We talked a lot about my current and past experience. The process included about 3-4 interviews with different team members.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
Account Coordinator
It was three rounds with different management levels, and I also had to do a writing test. The questions were basically the same at each level; the multiple rounds were just to meet the team.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
Account Coordinator
I applied online and heard back for a Skype interview within two weeks. The Skype interview had three interviewers and they focused on my writing and digital skills. They asked about salary during the initial screening. The interviewer who asked most of the questions had only worked at Hager Sharp for a few months, and they asked a lot of standard interview questions.
- Could you tell me about your media skills and the programs you've used previously?
Account Executive
The hiring process back in 2010 was pretty standard. Since I was living overseas, I couldn't come in for an in-person interview, so I had two phone interviews instead. Luckily, they were flexible, and we both felt it was a good fit. I sent in my resume through the company website, and then the hiring manager for the team that had an opening got in touch with me.
- The interview questions at the time were very straightforward, with nothing unexpected.
