First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Haemonetics.
Marketing
So, I went through a few rounds of interviews. It started with some screening questions, then I talked to the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and then some other people on the team, even the director. I think there was supposed to be one more step after that. I got to the point where I met with the director. They apparently decided I wasn't the right fit because she told me at the start of the meeting that she and a colleague were arguing about who had to interview me in the morning. It felt pretty condescending the whole time. Looking back, I'm happy I didn't get the job because that's probably the kind of place it is.
- Can you share your experience with leading marketing projects that are similar to what this position requires?
Treasury Risk Management and Investor Relations Intern
The interview process was great and I got a response very quickly. It was mostly behavioral questions about why I was interested in working at Haemonetics and in the Medtech Industry. I got a response relatively quickly and they kept me up to date with all updates.
- What makes you want to join Haemonetics?
Project Manager
After applying, the recruiter sent a large list of questions to "move the process forward more quickly" for candidates. I spent hours curating every response and sent it back. They never provided feedback till this day. Its apparent they have a bad culture and don't value their candidates or employees' time. I was hesitant to provide them this one-sided interview and definitely regret spending a second doing so. Never again.

- What's your current job status?

Data Engineer
They have a fast hiring process, usually less than a week when they are actively recruiting. It's pretty straightforward with direct questions, and they're willing to consider candidates without prior experience. The process kicked off within a week, and the hiring manager seemed interested after our interview. There were four people involved: the Global Manager from HQ, the Site Manager in Tijuana, an HR Manager also in Tijuana, and a previous Master Data team member.
- Could you tell me about the number of languages you are proficient in?
- What would you consider your most significant achievement in your previous role?
