It took about a month, and it was super efficient and well-organized. The questions were spot on for the role. My recruiter was great, checking in and being super helpful throughout. Honestly, it was the best interview process I've been through.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process had 4 stages: first a recruiter screening call, then a hiring manager interview, followed by conversations with team members, and finally a presentation and role play. The recruiter was amazing and really showed HackerOne's culture. She was super proactive, checking in on me between stages and always quick to clarify things or answer questions. The stages were organized perfectly, and for the final presentation, they even gave me a template to use. The whole thing was handled really well, and it felt like the interviewers wanted me to succeed.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process started with a voice-only recruiter call, which was a bit weird for a remote company. The recruiter just read the job description aloud and didn't know anything about the business unit. Then, I had a call with the Hiring Manager who then sent me to the 'Interview challenge'. This involved a mock client call and a personal presentation to the HM and two team members. I spent three days prepping for this, reading docs and making slides. I got good praise but no constructive feedback during the meeting. Some general questions were asked too. Two days later, I got a generic rejection email from the recruiter. I tried to get some feedback to know how I could improve, but never heard back. I was a referral, so I expected better communication, but the whole thing was pretty disappointing.
