The first call was a screening call with the HR Team and it was fairly straightforward - no hard-hitting questions. The second conversation was a one-hour call with a member of the team. The third day was a series of three 30-minute interviews, two with higher-ups and one with an HR member.

Behavioral Presentation

First, there was a phone screening with HR, then a brief phone chat with the hiring manager. Finally, an in-person panel interview with the manager and some colleagues. The questions were generally broad. They asked for examples but didn't really ask follow-up questions. It's really important to impress the HR person because they can recommend you, even though they don't know much about the job or the office vibe. Also, you gotta show how much you respect the Habitat mission and its good name because that's what management cares about most. Flatter them by talking about how you feel connected to the mission, and your chances of getting hired will be way better.

So, there were three interviews in total. First, there was a phone screen. Then, I had a call with someone who currently works there. Finally, I went in for an in-person panel interview. This last one had three people who would be my coworkers, plus the person who was leaving the job I was going for.
