This was a Microsoft contract position with H10 providing the opportunity. There were two 1:1 interview rounds, and no initial phone screening. The interviewers were professional and friendly, and the coding problems presented weren't overly difficult. I had to write code on a whiteboard.

I was reached out to on LinkedIn by a recruiter who was really helpful because they get paid when I get the contract. After a quick chat where I talked about my experience and what kind of job I was looking for, they sent my application for a few different roles. About a week and a half later, I heard back that the company wanted to interview me. The whole process from that point until I accepted the offer took about a week.

Behavioral

The interview process felt like a pretty standard phone screening. I liked that the interviewer summarized my responses into bullet points. I'd interviewed with one of their clients before but didn't get the job, which was fine since it wasn't a good fit. After getting another offer, I sent over the requested bullet points and never heard back, even though this new role seemed like a really good match. I reached out to the recruiter a couple of weeks later for feedback on the last opportunity, but still no response. It's been disappointing.

I had a phone chat with H10. Then they arranged an interview with the client, where I spoke with two people from the department, followed by an interview with the Department Manager. I tried to follow up with H10 by email three times but got no reply. So I won't be applying for any more jobs through them. Communication is really important.
