Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at H Mart.
HR Coordinator
I applied for the job through an online posting. Right after that, they scheduled a preliminary phone interview and then a video interview. They seemed really keen on downplaying my past experiences and were quite firm about their salary range, which made me hesitant to continue.
- Can you tell us about your experience?
- What do you know about Hmart?
- Would you be okay with traveling for this job?
HR Assistant
It was a pretty standard process. The interviewers were upfront about the challenges the company is dealing with and what they're hoping to find in a good candidate throughout. Started with a phone call with HQ, then an in-person first round, followed by a video call with HQ for the second round, and then the final round.
- Were you asked behavioral questions throughout the interview?
HR Generalist
A few years back, I interviewed for the HR Generalist role. The process included a phone call with someone from HQ HR, then an in-person meeting with the HR Manager out in CA, and finally a video chat with some HR folks at HQ. It all went pretty smoothly.
- What makes you want to join our company?
