It was a seamless interview process, and I actually got a job title bump. I was interviewing for a process operator job, but the hiring manager saw my engineering background and offered me a higher role. The job required a chemistry grad and involved batch making, plus monitoring process changes within limits shown on batch or shop sheets. I ended up taking a role doing more plant engineering, even though I just graduated.

It was a really quick process. I heard back in less than a week. The interviewer asked about my background and then used my answers to come up with more questions, along with some standard ones. We wrapped up with a Q&A session.

I initially connected with the company at a college recruiting event, and things seemed promising. I had three interviews via FT or Webex. Following that, they invited me to their plant for another interview. They mentioned I should expect to hear back in 'a few weeks,' but it's now been 4 months with no response. The company is currently undergoing significant changes and appears to be struggling with managing their workload. It wasn't the best experience, especially since a simple reply like 'we've found another candidate' would have been appreciated. I was also surprised to learn they currently lack the capability to calculate throughput on any of their production lines.
