First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gulliver Schools.
Staff Position
I had a negative candidate experience with Gulliver. I interviewed for a position and was told I would hear back by a certain date. I followed up and was told I’d hear back by the end of the week. I was ghosted and did not end up hearing back. Communication seems to be poor.
- What is your motivation for applying to Gulliver and this specific role?
Substitute Teacher
It was pretty straightforward. They asked about my background and interests. Then they explained what the job entails and checked if I was interested. They also told me about the typical daily schedule.
- Can you tell me what degree you have?
Clinician
Super fair and personable. The people interviewing made it very friendly and conversational. They gave one task to complete, but it wasn't overwhelming. They were interested not only in me as an educator but as a whole person.
- Tell me about your experience in education.
History Teacher
I had one in-person interview with the principal, then they called my references, and then they sent the offer. It took them over a month to send the offer, so I ended up taking another job.
- Could you tell me about your teaching experience?
