The hiring process was really misleading. The hiring manager contacted me about a week after I applied. We scheduled a time to tour the facility. I met some of the team members and the doctors in the specialty they were hiring for. I interviewed with the doctors, hiring manager, and lead technician. I thought it went well because I have a lot of experience in this field and worked at a busy, well-known clinic. After two weeks, I figured I wasn't chosen. I understand this field is competitive and GCVS is selective. What could be improved is being more upfront with candidates who took the time to apply, travel, tour the facility, and interview. Instead of ignoring them, tell them what they could improve on, or that GCVS found someone with more experience. I didn't expect GCVS to be so incompetent. Overall, I wouldn't recommend applying.

It was a really easy process. They started by asking me to talk about myself and my past work. Then they asked what I'd do if an employee had an altercation with me. They just wanted to get to know me and understand why I wanted the job and hear about my previous experience.

I met with the Supervisor and CEO. They gave me a tour of the building. I also had to take a filing test and then I observed the fast-paced environment from the front desk for about 30 minutes. I also had a chance to talk to some of the current customer service reps and ask them about their jobs.

The interviewer asked some great questions. It felt relaxed but still professional, and I got a tour of the hospital. They've scheduled a working interview for me next. They got back to me really quickly. I met with different department heads so they could figure out the best place for me.
