The interview process overall wasn't ideal. The first round and initial screening were straightforward and happened within a week. However, the second round got rescheduled five times. I should have realized then that they were likely finalizing another candidate and were just looking for backups in case the primary candidate fell through. While I'm okay with backups, more transparency would have been appreciated instead of receiving rescheduled interview messages less than an hour before the scheduled start time.

Applied online and heard back from the recruiter really fast, within a day. Had a great chat with them which led to an interview with the Hiring Manager. The HM had to reschedule our interview, pushing it back by two weeks. The discussion itself was alright, though the HM didn't share much about the actual role. After that call, I didn't expect much. Things went silent for about two weeks, then suddenly the recruiter contacted me again to schedule another interview with a senior engineering leader. That conversation went really well, and then I had yet another interview with a different engineering leader a week after that. The whole process took about 2 months and included 3 interviews. I tried following up via email multiple times, but never heard back from the recruiter. It's a shame because Guidewire seemed like a great company, but this was honestly the worst interview process I've ever been through. Just felt like a total waste of my time.

The interview process was pretty intense with several stages. First, I had a call with HR to check cultural fit with Guidewire. Then, a phone interview with someone in a similar role. After that, there were three onsite interviews. The first onsite was 1:1 interviews with 3 people in similar roles. The second onsite involved 1:1 interviews with 3 people from the team. The third onsite was with senior management. The questions were really relevant to the role and practical, unlike some other companies. It was a good experience and made me more interested in the company.
