ServiceNow Administrator
I get it—it's tough when you thought the HR behavioral interview went well, but you didn't get the job. It's pretty normal for companies to not give a specific reason why they reject candidates. This is mainly because: Policies: Lots of companies have rules about not giving feedback because of legal stuff. Competition: Sometimes, even if you did a good job, other people might have scored just a bit higher, or they were a better fit for what they needed. Fit/Alignment: Behavioral interviews are often more about seeing if you'd fit into the company culture, how you'd work with the team, and your potential long-term. These things can be kinda subjective. Role Changes: Sometimes the job needs change, or they put the hiring on hold after interviews, and they don't always tell the candidates about these internal changes.

Medical Records Abstractor
It was a good, quick follow-up. The interview itself was brief and included some general technical questions. The role being mostly remote was a turn-off for me. No cameras were used, and it was a general, normal interview.
- Can you list the EMR systems you have experience with?
Service Desk Analyst
The interview was more of a chat, really. It felt pretty relaxed, and we talked about what the job involves and how important it is to be adaptable when working with different clients and people.
- Can you tell me about the duties you had in your previous roles?
- What facts can you share about your past positions?
IT Support
The recruiter called and chatted about the role. Then I met with the account exec. After that, I had another meeting, in person this time, with the Vice President. Finally, the recruiter got in touch to extend a job offer. I have a few days to think it over and let them know my decision.
- Can you walk me through your previous experience?
