First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Guidehouse.
Director
The process started with a screening interview, followed by two rounds with the hiring partner, then another interview with other partners, and finally a case study/sales presentation. I completed the screening and first few rounds, but then got ghosted by Guidehouse. This is the second time this has happened with them; the first time I got through three rounds and heard nothing back. It's unusual because every other consulting firm lets you know when they're not moving forward. It's really disappointing for a Director role.
- Can you share your experience leading a team?
Director
I had several case-based and conversational interviews. This org is growing fast. It began with an executive recruiter, since Directors are one level below Partner. This then led to the hiring Partner, then I spoke with a peer partner, and finally a future peer Director for a behavioral interview.
- What's motivating your job search and why are you interested in Guidehouse?
Director
The hiring process took over two months to finalize a decision from the hiring panel. It was generally unorganized and disappointing. I didn't receive any feedback even after being in their hiring pipeline for almost three months. It seemed like they weren't sure what they were looking for in this position and it appears to still be open.
- Could you provide an overview of your resume?
- Describe your approach to managing competing schedules and deadlines.
- What is your management philosophy?
