Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Guidehouse Insights.
Consultant
Great interview process. Informative and accurate. They had a clear definition of the skills they were looking for and was able to articulate the skills required to be a successful consultant in the role.
- What is one of your weaknesses?
Senior Consultant
Scheduling the time slots was a bit tricky. I had two main parts: a behavior interview and a prepared case interview, and each one took about an hour. The questions in the interviews were pretty standard. For the prepared case, I had a week to work on it and put together a slide deck to present my solution.
- Can you describe how you handle a challenging team member?
Consultant
Had three calls with the hiring manager and two other managers. It was pretty laid back and not super formal. They asked about my skills and what I've done before. It was a pretty simple interview process and the hiring manager was helpful in moving the offer along.
- Could you describe your skills and how they align with the requirements of this role?
