& Process

It was pretty chill, not super technical. More about getting to know me and seeing how I think, like how I'd handle basic troubleshooting like ping or tracert. They were nice the whole time and even gave me a tour.

I applied to a client's opening and they referred me to GTS, their partner, during the phone interview. I scheduled an interview with GTS via email. The interview mainly consisted of them describing the position and giving me details. I got to talk about my resume a few times, but the role didn't really need specific experience, just competence. At the end, they said I seemed like a good fit and offered me the position, which I accepted.

Applied online, then got a call to set up an interview. Got an email confirmation too, explaining what to expect for the phone interview. It was short and to the point. I didn't get much of a chance to talk because they cut it short from an hour to maybe ten minutes. They clearly thought it was a waste of time. On top of that, they rudely implied I was just looking for a reason to move to their city and not actually seeking a career.

There was an online assessment which took two hours and had seven questions. The last three questions needed C++ or Java. The first question was about algorithmic complexity and was very easy, and the remaining 6 questions were of average difficulty.
