First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GSR Technologies.
Software Engineer
The interview included Java questions, system design, and a coding challenge. It really dug deep into Java concepts, like you'd see in interview prep materials.
- What are some basic Java questions?
- Can you explain more advanced Java questions?
- Discuss system design involving microservices.
Recruiter
The recruiter reached out cold and didn't make me feel enthusiastic about the company. During the call, they discussed the company generally, almost as if they hadn't reviewed my resume at all. They're holding off on disclosing salary details until the final stage, which doesn't seem promising in terms of compensation.
- Can you tell me about your experience supporting recruitment teams?
QA Automation Tester
The interview process had only 2 rounds. The first round was with a technical person, and the second was with HR. They expect you to be really good at Java. Both rounds should not take more than an hour to complete.
- Tell me about your Java skills.
- What Java questions do you have?
Software Engineer
The interview process was good and went smoothly. It started with a technical round, followed by a second technical round, and then an HR round. They asked about Java basics, Selenium POM, and data-driven approaches. There was also a part where I had to write some program code and syntax for a web element.
- Can you explain what POM is?
- Could you describe the data-driven approach?
- Please write some program code and syntax for a web element.
