There were two online interviews. The first was with the art director and the second with the director of the Barcelona offices. Everything went well, both were correct, pleasant and professional. They explained details about the company and the position, and asked the usual questions about experience, etc.

Technical Coding Technical

The first round was about basic Unity and OOPS, C# programming theoretical questions. The second round was a coding round with a lengthy program and some theoretical questions. The interviewer didn't know the logic himself and expected me to complete the program and get it to an executable state. He then tested if the logic was fine by passing inputs and executing the program. By then, it had been more than 1.5 hours, which had already made me bored with the interview. I believe an interviewer should know the logic and only then can they analyze the skill of a developer with hints. Overall, not a good way to conduct a coding interview, and the interviewer himself isn't skilled enough to judge anyone else.

Coding System Design Behavioral

So, the whole interview process had three stages. First up was a round all about Data Structures and Algorithms. Then, the second stage was focused on System Design. And the third stage was a mix of talking about my past experience on my resume and then diving back into more system design stuff. It was tough, for sure, but I learned a lot from it.

First, I talked to the senior manager, then the studio manager. After that, there was a home task where I had to create a video ad for a game using provided assets and placement. Then I had an interview with management, and finally, an interview with Human Resources.
