Sales Representative
Standard process, professionals but slow. The process lasted about 3 months, there were 3 interviews. Two with HR and one with the manager. All online. They really value company culture and how it aligns with yours.
- Tell me about your previous job experience.
Sales Representative
The interview process was automated, and it seemed to be more focused on people with a business background rather than those with a science background. I think they should really look for people who have formal science education combined with marketing experience. It seems like most of the sales reps are not very knowledgeable about the pharmacodynamics/pharmacokinetics of their drugs. It would really help their sales strategy if they actually understood the chemical properties of the drugs instead of just memorizing a few terms and having a basic understanding of how they work. And honestly, a lot of them don't even have that much knowledge.
- Can you tell me how long you've been in sales?
Sales
It was a 6-month process with several interviews and waiting periods. The staff and HR division were friendly. It's an excellent Fort 500 company with potential. The management team has a lot of tenure. The process was focused but drawn out a bit too long.
