The GSK internship process started with an online app and the "World of GSK" digital assessment. This test required ranking how I'd respond to workplace scenarios to see if I fit the company values, and also had short reasoning parts to test my problem-solving and analytical skills. If I passed that, the next step was a screening call with HR. This 15-20 min chat was to check if I was eligible, confirm I was available for the internship, and talk about my basic interest in the job. The recruiter checked my communication skills and background before passing my app to the technical team. The last part was a Zoom interview with a hiring engineer. This was about 45-60 mins and focused on my technical skills and past engineering projects. The interviewer used the STAR method to check specific behaviors and technical problem-solving related to the job.

Last year, I did this video interview thing. It had a bunch of questions that were already recorded, and I had to record myself answering them fast. They were mostly behavioral, asking about stuff I'd done before, teamwork, solving problems, and how I dealt with tough situations. No technical stuff at all. It was pretty structured, and I got some time to think before recording each one.

It's got several stages. You start with an online application, then there's the GSK Digital Assessment which has some fun exercises, and after that, maybe a video interview. Then there are usually phone or video screenings, and for tech jobs, technical interviews.
