Support Analyst
First I had a talk with HR and after that with the area manager. It was simple and welcoming. But it took a long time to get feedback. The questions were about my professional experience, my resume, and also soft skills.
- How do you handle pressure?
- What are your flaws?
- What are your strengths?
Internal Consultant
I went through a selection process that lasted about 4 months. I was approved, completed all the hiring steps, and already had a start date and travel for onboarding scheduled. Then, I was informed that they made a mistake with my offer, it was 30% less than initially proposed because they reduced the salary range for the advertised position due to hazard pay! I tried to negotiate to get closer to the initial offer, and after two days, the consulting firm (because the company didn't even have the courtesy to inform me directly!) told me the position was SUSPENDED! Yes, SUSPENDED! They didn't respond to my WhatsApp messages (which was embarrassing, it felt like I had done something wrong). They kept my documents, didn't formally communicate the suspension via email, and now I'm here without a job because I turned down other offers to accept this one, and without money because I bought new clothes for the job. Luckily, I didn't cancel my daughter's health insurance (she has ongoing treatment) despite the promise of company insurance, and I only adjusted our routine for her to adapt to mom's new job. The only good news is I'll be closer to her for a while longer. I don't recommend the company due to the lack of respect for candidates, lack of care for people, unethical practices (reducing salary to offset hazard pay!?), and the final decision to suspend the position (which I think was the worst possible outcome!). I want to work for a company that shares my values; transparency makes a huge difference! I'm devastated, embarrassed, and not sure exactly how I feel, maybe 'inconformity' is the best word. I called my family and friends super happy to share the news of getting this opportunity (after being unemployed for 7 months), and now I have to tell them about the company's actions. Disappointing!
- Questions about my professional experiences.
Management Trainee
I went through the GEQ trainee process all the way to the final stage, but unfortunately, I was eliminated after the executive interviews. However, I can say for sure it was the best experience of my life. The process was expertly managed by CIA de Talentos and the GEQ staff themselves. Everyone was super attentive and eager to help clarify any doubts.
