First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grub Burger Bar.
HR Generalist
The interview process was quick and simple. The person interviewing me was ready and had already looked at my resume before I got there. I'd say to get ready with some questions because it felt more like a chat.
- What are your strategies for managing stress during work?
Service Associate
The process was simple, smooth, and sufficient. I'm not sure how it is now with so many things being virtual, but it was good back when I interviewed. It helped with work ethic when I was young in the service industry.
- How do you value other people?
- Would you say you are a team player?
Front of House
Started with submitting an application, then got scheduled for an in-person interview. After that, there were three 1:1 interviews. They asked me some hypothetical and fun questions, plus about myself and my traits. I actually got offered the job over the phone after the second interview, but they still wanted me to do the third round to keep things fair.
- How would you define Grub Burger Bar using a music genre?
Manager
The initial phone screen and subsequent interviews with the Market Partner and the Managing Partner of the location were very positive, and they really made an effort to make me feel comfortable. However, the process took over three months, and communication was poor. They never let me know they weren't interested in hiring me, nor did I ever get an offer. I've never experienced an interview process that was left hanging with no feedback at all.
- Could you describe your typical daily activities in your current role?
- What is your reason for seeking to leave your present job?
