I applied online for a job, and about a week later, my current boss told me GrowGen had contacted them asking about me. I never actually got an interview or even a call about the position. They also didn't ask for references on the application, so they definitely did some research on my LinkedIn and connections. I was pretty upset they contacted my employer without even offering an interview because now things are awkward at my job. You should avoid this place because they don't seem to have professional respect.
