I had a behavioral screening in the first round. The recruiter was extremely nice and friendly. The screening was conversational and I ended up really enjoying the screening. The scheduling is quick and efficient, and they are very flexible.

So, for an IT VP role at a finance company, it's usually a few steps. You'll go through some tech checks, they'll want to see how you lead, and you'll chat with the big bosses to make sure you're on the same page with the company's plans and can handle tricky tech projects.

  • Can you share some of your general experiences?
  • The interview felt like a relaxed chat, which was nice.

Behavioral Technical

I had a laid-back phone screen with a recruiter who asked basic questions. Then I took a behavioral test and set up another interview with the hiring team. The last interview had three people asking a variety of questions, with some awkward silences where they seemed to expect me to keep talking. They stressed knowing different apps and programs. I'd only suggest applying if you have a lot of call center experience.

Behavioral

So this was for a new role they were creating. The interview was pretty much all behavioral questions, not much natural chat. It was about an hour with one person, the head of a new department at corporate. She took a lot of notes on my answers. I think they were really looking for someone with data mining skills.
