First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Groundswell.
Cloud Engineer
I interviewed with two engineers who asked scenario-based questions about cloud, security, and patching. They were smart and friendly, which made me feel comfortable. They asked a few follow-up questions. The questions were surface-level and broad, designed to gauge my technical knowledge and thought process.
- When faced with a critical vulnerability in an internal database versus a high vulnerability in a public-facing application, which would you prioritize patching and why?
Solutions Architect
The initial screening call was friendly and pleasant. It's a bit confusing though because the job was advertised as fully remote, but they asked upfront if I could commit to working in the office three days a week, which sounds more like a hybrid setup.
- What about your past experience lines up with what we're looking for in this role?
Technical Consultant
I got the interview through a student career fair. It was a behavioral phone interview, but the recruiter was late to call after the scheduled time. Mostly, they asked questions about my resume.
- Questions about my Resume were asked.
- What experience do you have talking to clients?
Technical Consultant
It was 3 laidback behavioral interviews with leaders, and I had a great time. The recruiter was super helpful and a big reason I enjoyed interviewing here.
- Questions about your resume.
- General behavioral questions.
