First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ground Effects.
Maintenance Technician
It was a quick and easy process with just one round. I spoke with the maintenance manager and the plant manager. They asked me basic questions about my previous experience and my knowledge of troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. I got the result on the same day.
- Can you describe your knowledge of tools?
- Could you share your previous experience?
Project Manager
It was a quick process, only a week long, with two interviews. First, I spoke with HR and the manager, then later with the manager and a VP. They were super communicative throughout.
- Can you share an example of a project problem you successfully resolved?
IT Consultant
The interview was pretty relaxed, only lasted about half an hour, and involved some behavioral and leadership questions along with specific questions about my previous work experience. There weren't any coding or technical questions. Three people were present: my team manager, the VP of the IT department, and an HR person who mainly just took notes without contributing verbally.
- Could you share the most significant leadership skill you acquired from your previous role?
Quality Assurance Technician
The interview was quick and to the point. There weren't a lot of technical questions, mostly focusing on behavioral aspects and basic knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing quality processes. I also got a chance to give feedback on the company and suggest areas for improvement (continuous improvement), especially since I had prior experience on the production floor.
- Could you share your strengths and weaknesses?
- What is your understanding of quality tools and manufacturing quality processes?
- Do you have any suggestions for company improvements?
