We started with an initial chat with HR, then moved on to speak with the Hiring Manager, and the final step was a Panel Interview. All interviews were on camera, except for the very first one with HR. The interviewers were really nice and made me feel welcome.

I applied online through LinkedIn and was contacted via email to schedule a phone interview. The scheduling form asked for my phone number. When the interview time arrived, I was not called and instead received an email asking if I was still joining. I then found a Microsoft Teams link in the original email and joined the call, only to find it was a virtual interview, not a phone interview as expected. I was not prepared for this. The interviewer was nice, but the process was disorganized. They said I'd hear back within a week or two, but after that time passed, I reached out for an update and received no response. The job is still posted. I felt my time was not respected.

The onsite interview was a marathon of 5 back-to-back interviews lasting 4.5 hours. I met with managers all the way up to the CEO. Although I thought I performed well, I didn't receive an offer. I think the last interview, with my potential second-level manager, was where things went wrong. He mentioned his employees average around 55-60 hours per week, which he considered standard. Given that I had already been interviewing for 4 hours and was concerned about a 2-hour commute each way, my reaction must have been noticeable. It would have been better if I had interviewed with him earlier. I get the demands of a sales role – maximizing every opportunity – but I struggled to convey that confidence at that specific moment. Overall, it was a fair process with fair questions. I regret not getting this role; it seemed like a great company with interesting work and strong future prospects, despite the heavy workload.

After two rounds of interviews, I was told it was between me and one other person and I could expect to hear back in a week. That was five months ago, and I never heard back. The job is still posted. I had a sense that nobody really knew what they were doing, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But now I'm pretty certain that the marketing team is clueless.
