So I had 3 rounds total, starting with a screening call. Then there were two technical interviews with a Senior Data Scientist where I had to do some coding. After that, I had an interview with a manager where we discussed my past experience and went over a project in detail. I passed all those stages and then had an HR round to talk about the package. The HR was nice at first and the whole process took about a week. However, after we discussed salary, the HR kept delaying the offer letter with excuses. I followed up a few days later, and the HR finally said they had to put the offer and position on hold because of a strategy change. It felt like a waste of my time and effort due to poor company communication. I wish companies would be more upfront and not waste people's time, especially when offering jobs. It was really unprofessional.

We have a 4-round process. First, an online screening test with a coding assignment or problems to do in 1-2 days. Then, HR screening to talk about your background, experience, why you're applying, and if you get the company. We'll also discuss salary and start date. After that, a technical interview with questions on CS fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, system design, and maybe specific knowledge for the role, plus a live coding task. Finally, another HR round to go over the compensation package, benefits, start date, and any last details.
