Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gregorys Coffee.
Barista
I applied online and went through a professional but laid-back interview process. It was just one round. I got an offer, but on my first day, my onboarding wasn't scheduled, and management ghosted me!
- Do you have previous barista experience?
Barista
The interview process was pretty easy and not too hard. It's good to know what the company is all about and what they're trying to achieve. You should be friendly and know how the job works. They're looking for people who can get along with others and are eager to learn. Previous experience is a plus.
- Can you describe your experience working in your last role?
Barista
I applied online and got an email the next day for an interview. In the interview, one person asked questions while another typed everything into a laptop. They said it was a great interview and they would email if they wanted to hire me. I got an email less than 30 minutes later.
- What is your opinion on coffee?
- What makes you a good candidate for this position?
- Tell me about someone you admire and the reasons why.
