First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GreerWalker.
Tax Associate
There was one online interview with two managers or people higher up. It focused on your work background, with questions like 'describe difficult situations you have navigated.' Not much about accounting. Then, a casual in-person lunch with a partner and manager to get to know you.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you've faced in your career?
Tax Intern
The interview process consisted of a 1st round, which was a 30-minute interview with a partner, covering all behavioral questions. The 2nd round was an on-site office visit followed by three back-to-back 30-minute interviews. I will update this later after I finish them.
- Why Charlotte and why GW?
Tax Intern
It was a really quick interview, no behavioral questions at all. We just did intros and they asked why I was interested in the firm, tax, Charlotte, and my school. The partner was nice but didn't seem that into me. I'm not sure what they were looking for.
