First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Greenphire.
Application Developer
Had a couple of rounds: one with the hiring manager and another with the team members. They asked about my past work and projects. There was also a live coding part, but it wasn't super hard like Leetcode, more practical stuff for the job. HR was quick with emails before and after.
- Can you elaborate on your most recent project?
Application Developer
I applied in January 2023 and heard back from a recruiter about a week later. The recruiter set up a technical interview in Python. It wasn't super hard, more about working with data and writing unit tests. The interviewers were friendly and happy to answer my questions about the company, the team, and the job. After that, I had an in-person interview where they asked both behavioral and technical questions. I got an offer the next week and took it!
- When is code considered acceptable?
- Can you describe your past work and positions?
Applications Developer
Had a 30-minute call with a senior developer. First 15 minutes were spent talking about my background and the role. Then, 10 minutes to solve a LeetCode problem in a browser IDE. The interviewer didn't really go over my solution or offer much feedback, which is an interesting way to screen candidates. The last 5 minutes were for my questions, and the interviewer ended the call right on time, seeming a bit rushed.
- Solve a LeetCode problem.
