First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Greenlane.
Sales Support
There were three rounds for this interview. The first was with the Talent Acquisition Team Member, just to get some info and details about the company and the role. The second round was with the Department Hiring Manager, and this was the hardest one with the questions they asked. The last round was with an Account Manager or Sales Team member, and this was more conversational with someone you'd work closely with.

Marketing Coordinator
It took them 4 interviews over a month and a half to reject me. The last interview seemed unusual, possibly for HR to gauge my involvement in office drama, which they openly discussed during my interview. They sought someone with over 5 years of experience but offered only 45K, which is unrealistic. They also clarified that "All other assigned tasks" often become primary responsibilities, essentially expecting one person to manage multiple departments for that salary. These are all major red flags, and I'm sharing this to save others time.

- Can you share an instance where your efforts led to a quantifiable return on investment for the company?
- Do you have any contacts within the cannabis industry?
Accounts Receivable Manager
I went through 4 video interviews for the AR Manager role and then got an offer letter which I signed. About a week and a half later, Greenlane's recruiter called saying I wasn't qualified, even though I'd already spoken with the recruiter, hiring manager, corporate controller, done a Q&A with the AR team, and signed the offer! Apparently, they realized they messed up or found someone else and rescinded the offer. This was especially stressful since I'd already quit my job and was supposed to start in 4 days. Thankfully, my old job let me stay. Hopefully, my experience helps others avoid this kind of stress.
- They asked all the typical questions.
Email Marketing Manager
I went through 3 interviews, and then they ghosted me completely. I even reached out to the HR director about my application status, but got no reply. Seriously, a quick email saying you're moving on would've been nice. They asked really specific questions about how things were done at my previous jobs, which seemed unrelated to this role. I think the last interview was just for their own information gathering. And yeah, when my potential manager mentioned that many people there are unprofessional, I should've seen that as a warning sign. Makes you wonder about their employee treatment if this is how they treat candidates. What a waste of my time!
- Do you support the cannabis industry?
