I went through 3 interview rounds over 2 weeks for this role. The first interview was a bit odd because the interviewer's camera was off, which felt unprofessional given mine was on. However, the other two interviews were fantastic; I really enjoyed the conversations and felt a good connection. I was told I'd get a decision the following week after the third round. Despite sending thank you notes and following up, I was ghosted for two weeks, so I had to withdraw my application. It seems like transparency and courtesy in hiring could be improved at this nonprofit, based on my experience and what others have shared.

The first interview was a Zoom call with a screener who didn't have their camera on, which was a bit awkward. I kept mine on, though. I got a quick response about them wanting a second interview. The second interview was good, and the people were nice. The questions were standard, nothing tricky. It went over the scheduled time, and then I got ghosted. I never heard back, even after sending a thank you and a follow-up email. If transparency and communication are expected in the role, I expect that during the interview process. The reviews for this nonprofit seem to align with my experience.

I applied online. First, I got a call for a quick and casual phone chat where they asked basic questions about my history and past jobs. Then, I came in for an in-person interview with three nice staff members who made me feel comfortable. After that, I was given an assignment to test my writing skills and how I'd handle specific situations, which were pretty straightforward.

It was an online process. About 15 minutes before the interview, you'd log onto a specific website and text your interviewer to let them know you're ready. When the interview time arrived, the interviewer would initiate a call, and you'd answer. The interview was pretty relaxed. They really wanted to get to know you and check the info they had, and then they'd ask if you had any questions.
