It started with a recruiter call where I was asked to talk about myself. I was instructed to use the "present-past-future" formula to summarize my current role, background, and why I am interested in this specific opportunity. I was also asked about my strengths and weaknesses. For strengths, I should highlight 3-4 key skills. For weaknesses, I should select a genuine, non-essential skill I am actively improving. I also needed to explain why I want to work at this company, demonstrating knowledge of the company’s culture, mission, and products. Then, I had to explain why they should hire me by connecting my experience directly to the job description. Finally, I was asked where I see myself in five years to show my ambition is aligned with the company’s potential growth. I was also asked about my salary expectations, advising me to research industry standards and, if possible, ask for the company's range first.

The interview was good but vague and sounded more like an engineer interview than management. There were more questions not relating to management but good questions for maintenance engineer. Was expecting more questions on management styles, handling conflicts, priorities and performing planning activities.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Questions about breakdowns and how to fix them, and about lotto procedures.

They asked about my background, my knowledge of Greencore, what I could contribute, and how my skills could help them. I also faced several technical questions covering the Project Life Cycle, project methodologies, software, and various processes.

I had a first stage interview with the internal recruitment team, who offered me a selection of dates to choose from. They inquired about my previous work experience, my current job, and my reasons for wanting to leave. Following that, I was asked competency-based questions about how I would handle specific situations I might encounter as a Line Coordinator. Finally, I was given a tour of the factory.
