The first round was an online "competency" test with personality questions and also random math questions. You have 30 seconds to respond to each question. They say the test is for inclusion and diversity, but it seems like it would weed out neurodivergent people.

It started with a recruiter call to check my fit, then I met with the head of people and culture, and finally, I interviewed with the CEO.

The interview process seemed a bit disorganized with scheduling, like they were really busy. The first interview, which lasted an hour, felt rushed and included questions on Decision trees, neural networks, and another topic. The HR person had a checklist to decide if I moved on. Then there was another interview with the HR Director that focused a lot on behavioral and other questions. After that, I was given a 3-day Data Science forecasting challenge, which was to predict a Google trends search term. It felt unrealistic because you couldn't ask clarifying questions. I got rejected about a week after submitting it. The CEO, who is the hiring manager, doesn't even meet candidates until after the DS exercise, which felt like a waste of time. Overall, it was an average experience.

It's a CEO-centric company and the interview process was long. It included a four hour assessment and I met with an executive coach. I met with the CEO twice. He was a bit off putting and passive aggressive in his commentary at times. This was my first interview where they didn't ask about my previous work history at all, which was off putting. I would decline any offer from them.
