The interview process was fast and smooth. There was one phone screen and then an onsite interview with three rounds. The interviewers were nice and asked good questions. The company seems to have a good system for keeping employees happy and engaged, and they train their managers well.

Green Bits' hiring process was pretty chill compared to other Bay Area tech companies. I went through 3 rounds in total, and everything was handled smoothly. They were super flexible too; my final interview, which was supposed to be onsite, was done remotely because I was out of town. First, there was a quick chat with the recruiter to see if my background matched what they needed. Then, I had a technical phone interview where I had to solve a coding problem on a whiteboard within about 45-60 minutes. The last step was an onsite interview that lasted around 4 hours. I met with four people: a QA engineer, an engineering manager, the head of HR, and a product manager. They asked me two coding questions, but mostly, the conversation was about how I'd fit into the team, my previous experiences, behavioral stuff, and giving me a chance to learn more about them.

Applied via a recruiter, then got a 4-question HackerRank challenge that took about an hour. A week later, I had a phone interview with the CTO. He spent the first 5 minutes explaining the company, Green Bits, then asked me two questions. He didn't ask any follow-up questions after I answered, which was weird, and he didn't seem engaged. I asked him questions to keep talking, but I figured he'd already decided. Got a rejection email a few days later.
