First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Greenberg Traurig.
Associate
It was pretty chill. They asked me about my resume and why I wanted to work for their firm, and why I wanted to be a lawyer, and about my strengths and weaknesses. Then I met the vice chair of litigation, who talked about what it's like to be an associate there.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Summer Associate
There were 2 rounds. First, I spoke with one attorney. Then, I met with 5-6 attorneys from a particular practice group. Everyone was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in meeting me. Due to COVID, all interviews were conducted via Zoom.
- Can you tell me about your summer experiences?
- Which law school courses have you enjoyed the most?
- What field of law are you hoping to practice in?
Senior Associate
Interview with the Managing Partner and one new partner. We talked about what an average day looks like at the firm, the good and bad parts of working in a firm, what we expect and how we handle caseloads. I was also asked for an example of a time I dealt with a difficult situation.
- Can you explain how you anticipate building your own client base?
