Sales Representative
Super chill and relaxed interview. If you have prior sales experience, that's a big plus, and it helps if you're into helping the environment. The whole interview happens over the phone. Just one interview, and you gotta show you can sell their product using some laminates they give you. Sometimes, another manager might pop in to listen. Be ready to act professional and ask about the product and sales approaches. Doing this will help you nail it. If they offer you training, definitely accept and be on time. The office vibe is really laid back, but you gotta dress business casual. Everyone there works hard, so your attitude should match that.
- Have you worked in retail or sales before, whether in energy or another field?
- What's your strategy for approaching different kinds of people when you're selling something?
Sales Operations
The interview process started with a phone screen. Next, there was a 2-on-1 interview with two managers. The atmosphere was pretty laid-back and the interview was generally easy. They mainly wanted to see if you're a capable person with decent computer skills. You gotta know basic Excel stuff like sorting, filtering, ctrl+F, and ctrl+D. Nothing too tough. Dress code is business casual Monday through Thursday, with casual Fridays, so aim for better than that.
- Can you tell me about a time you faced a challenge with management and how you handled it?
- What was a difficult situation you encountered with your manager, and what steps did you take to resolve it?
Sales Representative
The recruiter reached out just before the holidays, and the interview happened the week after. I spoke with three managers. It was a very casual chat, not a formal interview at all. The relaxed vibe here matches the work environment, as long as you're dependable and do your job. I got a call back about a week later with an offer.
- I don't recall any specific questions like that; it was more about getting to know you as a person rather than a structured interview.
