Risk Manager
I had 3 interviews in total, and they were all enjoyable conversations. It was a bit strange that I never met the hiring manager, though. I would have liked to see how we interact before starting the role.

Manager
I applied online and HR reached out after a week with some basic questions about my background. After a bit of a wait, I followed up and was told they were still reviewing. About a month or two later, HR sent the same questions again, which I re-answered. This was followed by a phone call with HR, then a call with a supervisor, and finally an in-person interview. Throughout these, interviewers focused on my experience, explained role expectations, and discussed goals. It felt more like a conversation, and they were open about challenges, asking for my input on improvements. The final in-person interview was with HR, asking for feedback on the process. Within a day, I got a call to schedule a follow-up with management and HR. During that call, I received an offer with no pressure to decide immediately. They explained the process delay, which seemed genuine. I accepted the offer.
- Can you share your experience managing both internal staff and consultants?
- What kind of work have you done in [name specific area]?
- Tell me about a challenge you encountered and how you resolved it.
Senior Manager
The interview process involved questions about my background and past work. Some questions focused on how I'd manage changes in project priorities. I was also asked for examples of providing great customer service, the pros and cons of dealing with difficult customers, and my long-term career aspirations.
- Can you share details about your past work experience?
- Describe how you'd manage scenarios where project priorities shift.
- Give me an instance where you provided outstanding customer service.
