This interviewer was pretty intimidating, talking to me like I didn't know anything. They asked questions that didn't seem to have a right or wrong answer, but then told me I was answering them incorrectly. I felt really belittled and knew I wouldn't get the job within the first few minutes.

It was a two-part interview process. First, a video phone interview. Then, a week later, I had an in-person interview. I was expecting to hear back by the end of that week, but because their decision-making process takes so long, and they asked illegal questions during the interview, I decided to withdraw my application.

I found the job on LinkedIn and applied on Green Bay Packaging's website by submitting my resume. About a week or two after applying, HR called and said they wanted to do a phone screening that week. Then, I had two onsite interviews over the next couple of weeks with different people from the corporate accounting team. HR was great at letting me know the timeline, what to expect next, and what they were looking for. They also answered my questions quickly during the 3-4 weeks the process took. Everyone I met was super nice and polite. They even gave me extra time to think about the offer when I asked.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you share an instance where you were assigned a task that lacked clarity?
  • Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with a colleague.
  • Tell me about a time you were solely responsible for managing a project.

The manager was rude and stated at the beginning of the interview that it was just an interview, nothing more. I said thanks, have a good day, but received no response. They didn't pick up the phone or send an email. They pay well and hire their friends. They use applicants to compile applications for the government.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you describe the most complicated project you ever worked on?
  • Have you ever changed a fuse?
