First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare.
Employee
The interview process was good, with excellent treatment. They explained things clearly, showed me around the plant, and discussed salary, job categories, and the work itself. There was also an induction, a tour, company information, and discussion about the work environment and company range.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your attitudes?
- What are your goals?
Software Development Engineer
Super quick and simple! It felt like I was just chatting with friends because everyone was so nice. They asked me questions that were directly related to the job. It was a really good, but relaxed interview process.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Case Manager
There were six interviewers, and some didn't seem very engaged. It was a pretty standard process, focused on finding someone with substantial experience working with clients in crisis, valuing practical experience over just education.
- Can you list the DSM diagnostic criteria for various mental illnesses?
- How would you manage a suicidal client who contacts you indicating immediate intent?
- Could you share your relevant experience?
Therapist
I applied online and HR reached out quickly to set up the interview. I met with the managers first since the director wasn't available. They asked about my background and what my future aspirations were. I had another chat with the director the following week, and it was pretty much the same stuff. Usually, there's just one interview, but my situation was a bit different.
- Can you list the DSM criteria for conditions such as depression, schizophrenia, and PTSD?
