First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Great Performances.
Front of House Staff
I put my resume on harri.com and they hit me up in under a week to set up an interview. It was a super chill, quick chat, less than 15 mins. They asked about why I wanted to work there and my past experiences. Then, if all goes well, you get to go to orientation! Easy.
- What makes you want to work in catering or at GP specifically?
Server
I did an online application where I put in my experience and how I heard about Great Performances, then I sent my CV and cover letter. They called me to set up an interview. After that, I did a skills test to figure out my pay. Then I did some training, and then I got offered shifts.
- Can you share an instance of dealing with a challenging customer?
Cater Waiter
The interview process was simple. You meet with around two people, and the interview is of average formality. The questions are easy. They wanted to know about any other jobs or projects that you may have, and how many days a week you can commit. They also want to make absolute sure that you have customer service experience.
- What makes you want to apply for this position?
Executive Assistant
The interview process seemed disorganized and like a chore. I was scheduled for a call at a specific time, but they called 10 minutes late. I had stepped away from my phone, so I called the hiring manager back 10 minutes after her call. I asked if it was a good time to chat, and she said I only had 9 minutes. Her tone was very passive, and I felt extremely rushed. She responded to all my answers with an annoyed "okay," showing she wasn't interested and wanted to end the call. Overall, it was an unfavorable experience.
