First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Great Lakes Coca-Cola Bottling.
Logistics Coordinator
I got contacted by a recruiter within 2 days of applying. Then, I was asked to come in for an in-person interview exactly a month later. It turned out to be a two-on-one interview, which they didn't tell me about beforehand. I went through with it and felt good about it because the interviewers were nice and seemed to know what they were looking for, and they made me feel like I'd fit in. They said I'd hear back after the holidays, but after the New Year, I still hadn't heard anything. I even tried reaching out to the recruiter, who was my only contact, and never got a response. It was terrible and really makes me wonder what it would be like to work there.

- Our company has a specific way of doing things, and we need someone who will strictly follow our methods, no matter what.
Account Manager
The hiring manager wants to know what drives you to want this job. Are you only in it for the money, or do you plan on being a key part of the company and growing with us? You gotta show 'em you want to be 'part of the family.' But also, make sure you show how what you want lines up with what they need.

- Is this role just about the money for you?
Supervisor
The interview team was pleasant and professional. They were friendly and asked good questions, listening to my follow-ups. I enjoyed the experience and the chance to get back to work. It seems like a great place to work, though it's a union environment, which is different from what I'm used to. I wasn't chosen, but I'd apply again if the opportunity comes up.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to hold someone accountable and what that entailed?
Logistics Planner
HR emailed me to set up a phone interview with him not long after I applied. A couple days after that call, HR sent an email to set up an interview with the manager and supervisors. Not long after that interview finished, HR called me saying they wanted to give me an offer.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
- Tell me about yourself.
