I got an immediate call after applying online. A recruiter took me out for coffee and a quick chat. They offer a lot training so they focus more on advertising what your job could be like if you accept the job offer.

I had a super nice hands-on interview where they gave me some pointers on how I could improve. They asked me to show them how to do a layers cut and a clipper cut. The only bummer was how long it took. Since they're always busy with clients and a bit short on staff, my interview ran twice as long as it usually would. I ended up being there for 3 hours.

The interview process was easy and straightforward with direct questions. I was hired on the spot and started working within a couple of weeks. This is a good opportunity for someone just out of hair school or for an experienced stylist who prefers to focus only on cutting rather than coloring.
