It was a really well-organized and quick interview process. I had my first interview with two senior people, one of whom was my future manager. They asked standard interview questions, nothing out of the ordinary. Then, I was given a task to complete: write a press release and a short social media post. After that, I had a second interview with the head of the department and their deputy.

I applied online and got a call about 24 hours later to come in for an interview. They gave me two time slots on the same day and said there was no flexibility, which was tough since I work full time. When I got to the office, which I thought was pretty dirty and cold for a client-facing company, I met two employees. They seemed nice but unprofessional, spending more time gossiping about office politics than asking interview questions. One of them hadn't even read my CV. They didn't seem very interested in my experience or if I'd be a good fit. It felt like a waste of my time since they rushed me to come in but didn't prepare or ask proper questions. What's worse, I still haven't heard back after four months, and my emails got no response.

So there were 2 interviews in total. Both were in the office. The first one was with my direct manager where we chatted about my past experiences and what the responsibilities for this role would look like. They didn't ask any standard competency questions, it was more focused on my skills and if I understood the job description. The second interview was with the line manager and another manager. This was more of a casual chat to get to know me better, and they also checked my English language skills since it's important for the job. Finally, I met with the managing director. It was technically the last interview, but it was really just a quick, informal chat to welcome me aboard, so no need to stress about that one.
