Marketing
I got a phone call that seemed to go okay. I didn't hear back for a while, like months, so I figured they weren't interested. Then, out of nowhere, I got another call asking me to come in the next day for an interview. I met with two people, my potential boss and his colleague. No HR people were there. They gave me a project to do and turn in before they could offer me the job.
- What are some of your favorite TV shows?
Account Manager
The process was really solid. I had to do a sample task to show I could do the job. I had to show strong communication and PowerPoint skills. They also liked that I knew another language. Schooling is a factor, but personality and skills are more important.
- Tell me about a product you absolutely would not want to market.
Creative Director
It was a really informal interview, I met the team in their conference room. They asked about me, and then didn't leave much time for my questions. I feel like this was just the first stage, and I'm expecting another round. They seemed to be short on time during our chat.
- Can you talk about your past work?
