First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gravity Global.
Project Manager
I had a really good time interviewing with Gravity Global. The hiring process was super organized, easy to understand, and they told me everything upfront. First, I talked to HR about my job situation, why I wanted the role, and what I could do, plus some general questions. Then, I had a longer talk with the hiring managers about my past work and what I’d accomplished. We went over how I’d shown skills like solving problems, working with others, and staying organized. They asked me for specific stories about times I’d dealt with things, how I tackled tough spots and made choices, and what I knew about Gravity Global and this job. Even though I didn’t get the job in the end, I really liked how well planned everything was. They let me know what was happening all the way through, making it feel professional, respectful, and just a good experience overall.
- Can you share a real example of a mistake you made at a previous job and how you dealt with it?
- Can you tell us about a time you had to stand your ground or disagree with something?
- Can you provide specific examples of situations you have managed in the past?
HR Advisor
The interview process was pretty simple, with two main stages. A task was given before the second interview. However, the communication wasn't the best throughout; it took about three weeks for them to respond to my initial application. I got to the final stage, but it was rescheduled last minute, which messed up my work arrangements. The interview itself ran over by 30 minutes, which I guess was a positive sign. I didn't get the job, which is okay, but I was rejected via email. I asked for more feedback, but I haven't heard back since. Honestly, considering the time, effort, and compromises I made for this process, I expected at least a phone call and some feedback.
- The task focused on probation management and your strategy for handling challenging probation cases.
- The interview questions were primarily based on my responses to the probation management task.
Paid Search Manager
I applied online through a job board. A few days later, I was contacted to schedule an interview. The first interview was with HR, and it covered basic marketing topics. After 30 minutes, the HR person said it went well and that they would schedule me with the hiring manager that same week. Unfortunately, after a few days of following up and sending a message, I never heard back. Getting ghosted is really unprofessional, and looking at the agency's reviews, I can see why this happens. It seems like ghosting is becoming standard practice.
- Could you tell me about the number of clients you've handled on a monthly basis?
Tech Leader
I had to take two days off for interviews, but both were canceled less than an hour before they were supposed to start. It was a lot like another interview I saw recently. Then, they sent a rejection email right after canceling the interviews. It seems like they're either not actually hiring or just trying to meet some interview quota. Researching the company more, and also 9thWonder which they merged with, suggests it's not a great place to work. They seem to have outdated storylines and technologies/services.
