Technical Group Case

After submitting an application, which was pretty standard with personal details, I had to answer two written questions: one about what caught my eye in the industry over the last year and another about my understanding of the role and qualifications. Then came an online assessment, a psychometric test that measured how quickly I could respond to a question with two single-word answers. Initially, I was supposed to do a standard assessment centre, but I was informed via a phone call that this would be replaced by a virtual group task. After that, I was told there would be final interviews, followed by an online interview, which could lead to an internship offer. Before the case study, I was cut off from the process.

after you put in your credentials and answer a few questions in earlier stages, you'll be invited to an online interview with basic questions common in most places. Then, there's a group interview with other candidates, which is well-run. The final stage is a 1-on-3 interview where they get to know you better. It's important to research the role, team, and company for this final round. The team is really helpful and supports you along the way with catch-up calls and workshops to help you prepare for each individual round.

Behavioral

The interview process is considered easy if you're coming from one of the big 4 firms. I'm not sure how it is if you're from smaller audit firms though. There are 2 rounds of interviews: the first one is with HR, and the next one is with both HR and a partner.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What are your views on business ethics?
  • Can you share some behavioral examples?
