Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grant Street Group.
Intern
The interview process was really long and tough, which could be kind of stressful but also fun. They put a lot of emphasis on school projects. The interviewers were nice. They want you to know about the company and how you can help out.
- Can you describe a project you've worked on?
- What about a project that you worked on?
- Tell me about a project you worked on.
Intern
I had an in-person interview where I answered some basic questions about my background and resume, and also completed a registration form. Then, I got an email asking me to do a one-hour programming test, which involved creating a simple web scraping script. It was pretty easy.
- What programming languages are you familiar with?
Intern
I applied online and then had a coding test. After that, I had a video call where they showed me some code and asked me to explain it. The questions were pretty straightforward if you've seen code before.
- Can you output the fibonacci numbers?
- What does this code do?
