First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grandview Medical Center.
Respiratory Therapist
The interview was very relaxed and informal. I received a tour of the hospital. The hiring manager asked me several straightforward questions and then asked if I had any questions for them. The manager also shared updates about new developments at the hospital and gave me a parking voucher. After the interview, I was sent to HR, where I was offered the job and we discussed my salary. Although I initially applied for a PRN role, I was informed that it was a full-time position or nothing.
- What motivates you to join our organization?
Patient Care Assistant
The interview was a phone call. They asked some easy questions but also some tricky ones. The hardest question was about why I wanted to do this job and how I'd make a difference on the unit. Everything else went well.
- What makes you want to work here?
- How do you see yourself contributing to this unit?
- Can you describe a challenging work situation and how you managed it?
PRN
The interview process was pretty decent and straightforward, I guess it was because they are urgently hiring and need more associates. The interviewer was very nice but I sensed that they were not really interested in me as a person but me as a worker when needed.
- Do you have reliable transportation
Registered Nurse
The interview process was nice, easy, friendly, polite, professional, and genuine. The staff are amazing and professional, and I look forward to possibly working for their hospital. It's a beautiful facility.
- What motivated you to pursue a career as an RN?
