Expense Analyst
Had an initial 30 min call with a recruiter from Czech Republic. She was late without saying sorry and I waited 20 mins before she called. It would have been nice if she had checked in. It was a standard call about my experience and the company. The following week, I had a video interview with 2 managers. They only gave me 1 day notice, which wasn't very professional or helpful. The interview was entirely competency-based, with repetitive questions and scenarios. It lasted about 45 mins and felt way too long. The interviewers weren't engaging. This focus on only competency questions is underwhelming because it doesn't let you sell yourself or highlight your experience/strengths/why you'd be a good fit. Graebel really needs to re-evaluate their interview processes, formats, and talent acquisition team. I was told I'd hear back about a second interview in a few days. After waiting over 2 weeks, I reached out to the recruiter, who then told me the position was filled. Graebel's values are supposedly Truth, Integrity, and Love, but my experience was the opposite. They didn't even have the decency to tell me I wasn't successful. I wouldn't recommend applying here. If this is how the recruitment process is, I can only imagine how unprofessional and awful it would be to work there.
- Every question was competency or scenario based, and that's it. Very disappointing.
Data Engineer
The interview process was good and I learned a lot. The questions were relevant to the job and everyone I spoke with knew their stuff. They were all from a data background and upfront about what would happen next. There were 3 rounds in total, and I got the offer in the end.
- Can you explain the gold, silver, and bronze layers in data architecture?
Administrative Assistant
It was a pretty relaxed process with three parts. First, a basic chat with HR. Then, I talked to the Team Leads, and finally, the managers. They asked standard questions about behavior and background. They did offer me the job after the three stages, but then took it back a week later, which was disappointing. The HR person said the contract would be sent the next day when she made the offer, but it never arrived. When I asked why, they said it was because I'm a student and don't have a valid work permit, even though we discussed this a lot from the start and they only figured it out after the offer. It felt unprofessional and like they don't really value employees. So, just be ready for surprising news like that.
- Can you give me an example from your own experience that illustrates what good customer satisfaction means to you?
Destination Service Provider
The interview process was quite extensive, starting with personality and IQ tests, and assessing math proficiency. This was followed by a Skype interview before they flew me in for an in-person panel interview. One person did most of the asking during the panel, and the three interviewers didn't seem very collegial. A fourth interviewer was supposed to be there but couldn't make it.
- What are your long-term plans regarding this role?
